Polar FIS+ Advanced is a new plug and play interface for vehicles from VAG Group that enables the function of watch video, movies or the TV for the passengers of your car while driving, as this feature comes disabled from factory.

Take advantage of the original navigation unit is installed in your vehicle and the family, children and friends will thank you when traveling with you on your daily commute or long trips watching movies or the TV.

No need to remove or install anything on your vehicle, also nor need solder or cut any wires. In addition, and unlike other products on the market, no need to leave the Polar VIMA interface connected or permanently installed on the vehicle.




· Turn the ignition in position 1 and then in the 2 position without starting the engine.
· Connect your Polar VIMA to your vehicle diagnosis OBD2 port.
· The interface green LED will start flashing indicating that activation is in progress.
· After a few seconds the green LED will stay fixed indicating that activation has been performed correctly.
· Done! It's that simple.

NOTE: In the memory of your Polar VIMA has been saved a backup of the original EEPROM with the factory settings useful just in case you want to re-lock the video in motion for any reason, for example, go to the official workshop, dealer, service or maintenance, warranty, MOT, selling the vehicle, ...

Locate the 2-character code that is between parenthesis in our list of compatible vehicles, for example 8U for the "Q3 Mk1 (8U)", and check the characters on the 7 and 8 positions of your vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

What I do if at the official garage they update the software of my car and block me again the video in motion?
No problem, you can re-use your Polar VIMA over and over again in the same car unlimited.

Does Polar VIMA more than 1 vehicle?
No, Polar VIMA is anchored to your vehicle after its first use and will only work on that car that has been anchored every time you use it.

Is Polar VIMA upgradeable?
Yes, it has a miniUSB connector so you can update the product if there are improvements or new features in the future.

In the GPS navigation unit of my car I actually have only video and DVD, connecting Polar VIMA will TV function appears?
No, you can only watch TV on the move if your vehicle is equipped with the TV tuner module from factory.

If I'm the driver, can I look at the navigation unit screen while driving?
It depends on the laws in each country. However, we recommend do not do it to avoid distractions behind the wheel.
